Every itinerary for a vacation to North India is designed so that you will adore both the route and the final destination. North India is renowned for its pleasant temperature and clean surroundings. Itinerary

Day 01

Delhi
Start your trip to Delhi, the country's capital city. Delhi is a mix of different cultures and traditions, with old and new places to visit and things to do. You can start your day by visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Site Red Fort to learn about Mughal history and architecture. Chandni Chowk is known for its narrow streets and delicious local food, which you can find there. India Gate is a great place to visit in the evening. It is a memorial to the men and women in the military who died in World War I.

Day 02

Delhi
Going to the Qutub Minar on the second day would be best. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. See Humayun's Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a great example of Mughal architecture. You will go to the Lotus Temple in the afternoon. It is a beautiful building that has won much praise over the years for its appearance. Spend some time at the Hindu Temple at Akshardham at the end of the day. This temple is well-known for its beautiful carvings and historical and cultural displays.

Day 03

Agra
Visit Agra on the third day to view the Taj Mahal, among the Seven Wonders of the World. You can take a train or a car to get there. You won't believe the white marble mausoleum's beauty until you see it in the morning. Emperor Shah Jahan ordered its building to memorialize his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The UNESCO World Heritage Site Agra Fort and the beautiful mausoleum Itmad-ud-Daula, often called the "Baby Taj," are other places to visit in the city.

Day 04

Jaipur
On the fourth day of your trip, go to Jaipur, also called the "Pink City." Pay a visit to the beautiful Amber Fort, a fortification made of red sandstone and marble with a beautiful view of the hills around it. Visit the City Palace, which dates back to the 18th century and comprises buildings, courtyards, and gardens. By going to the Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory, you can learn about how ancient Indians used to figure out where the stars were. Sawai Jai Singh, king of the Rajputs, built this building.

Day 05

Continue exploring Jaipur
On the fifth day of your trip, you can see the Hawa Mahal. This beautiful palace was built with intricate latticework so that royal women could watch street parties without being seen. See the Jal Mahal, a palace in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake with amazing views of the hills around it. Visit the Albert Hall Museum, which is a beautiful building full of paintings, sculptures, and other things from the Indian state of Rajasthan.

Day 06

Rishikesh
On day six, you will go to Rishikesh, a quiet town near the Himalayas. People say that Rishikesh is the "Yoga Capital of the World," It is a peaceful place where people can think and meditate. Pay a visit to Triveni Ghat, a holy site on the Ganges' banks known for letting pilgrims bathe there. Take a walk across the Laxman Jhula, a suspension bridge that connects two parts of the town and gives you beautiful views of the river and the hills around it.

Day 07

Haridwar
On the seventh day of your trip, you should go to Haridwar. Haridwar is on the banks of the Ganges River and is one of the seven holiest places in Hinduism. People think that Lord Vishnu went to the ghat called Har Ki Pauri, which is on the Ganges River. Visit the Mansa Devi Temple, which is on a hill and is dedicated to the goddess Mansa Devi. You can see the town and the river beautifully and excitingly from that spot. Make your way to the Har Ki Pauri ghat at night to participate in the aarti ceremony. During this service, hymns are sung while candles are lit before the altar.

Day 08

Shimla
On day 8, you'll go to Shimla, which is the summer capital of British India. Shimla is located in the Himalayas. Some of the things that make Shimla so well-known are the colonial buildings, the beautiful scenery, and the nice weather. Pay a visit to Mall Road, a popular place to shop and eat with stunning views of the surrounding hills. Take a ride on the Kalka-Shimla toy train, a narrow-gauge railway that takes you through tunnels, bridges, and valleys while giving you amazing views of the foothills of the Himalayas. The train leaves Kalka and goes to Shimla.

Day 09

Manali
You will travel to the breathtaking hill station of Manali in the Kullu Valley on the ninth day of your excursion. People are familiar with Manali because of its stunning surroundings, thrilling activities, and extensive history. Return in time and visit the Hadimba Temple, constructed in the 1600s and encircled by towering deodar trees. The goddess Hadimba is honored here in the temple that bears her name. If you stroll down Mall Road, you can pick up some traditional handicrafts, woolen garments, and other items to bring back.

Day 10

Chandigarh
The destination for the tenth and last day of the tour should be Chandigarh, which stands as the capital of Haryana and Punjab. It is good to know that the city of Chandigarh contains many structures designed in the modernist style and open areas and towns that have been meticulously planned. Visit the Rock Garden, a sculpture park constructed from the waste collected from local cities and companies. You would travel to Sukhna Lake, an artificial body of water where you may go boating and fishing. Take a tour of the Capitol Complex, a government structure designed by Le Corbusier and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 11

Departure
On day 11, you will check out of your hotel in Chandigarh and begin your journey back to your home. You will visit some of the most spectacular locations in Northern India if you go ahead with your plan. These locations are rich in history, culture, and the natural beauty of their surroundings and provide thrilling opportunities for adventure. Despite this, there is much more to see and do in Northern India, and you are free to adapt this itinerary to your particular passions and whims.
